Taylor Swift is back with a video for her new single “ME!” featuring Panic! at the Disco’s Brendon Urie. Directed by Dave Meyers and Taylor Swift, the video features a hue of pastel colors and fashions, clothing designed by Monique Lhuillier and Alexander McQueen, and jewelry designed by Rebecca de Ravenel.
Within 24 hours, the song and video has already shattered records. YouTube shared that ‘ME!’ has broken the record for highest female and solo 24-hour debut for any music video on the platform with over 65 million views, which has now soared past 100 million. Vevo reports that the video has broken the record for most views in a single day. Amazon also reports that the song has the most first-day streams, particularly for the most on-demand voice requests with Alexa than any other single debut on Amazon Music.
